I’ve been looking for something like this for forever, thank you. I bought a Panthera a little over 6 months ago and shelfed it because my movement was lacking and couldn’t make any progressions because I wasn’t well informed. I couldn’t get the extra b input to save my life and it was just so natural on pad so I had basically given up.

Completely agree with you , it’s about not pulling at a 45 degree angle. If you do this correctly , you can get the back dash by doing db neutral back . You don’t necessarily have to even start from back back or back , you can start at db and if you pull at the right angle, when you release to neutral , you will get the extra back

Yeah, from 1p side I just find it difficult to do with the default JLF microswitches. Replaced them with Cherry D44Xs which require less pressure to activate and it became substantially easier because it could be done with a more subtle motion. With the stock Omron switches, I found that that the left direction wouldn't activate while the stick was returning to neutral.

in the end your not doing a korean backdash, your missing the back input in between. now your just humping backwards instead of creating some real distance

Unfortunately there won't be a second part for now. Finding the footage is being a real pain in the butt, and the youtube downloaders aren't reliable enough for HD quality like this video. We will see.

I will admit, when I mixed this myself I had trouble finding a saber SFX until a friend of mine helped me out ^^;; But I understand the trouble of finding SFX, look through the VAA and you'll find some ^^

Interesting critique. I do understand what you mean by the mixing though, this trailer was a complete and utter pain. I was missing so many sounds (mainly the Z-Saber) and it was hard to balance the voices enough that you can hear the other characters without actually hearing Johnny, Zero's VA.

My main problem with this is that there was little to no mixing at all and it really drew me away from the voice acting because I can hear the original voice along with the sounds from the original game overlapping your voice, with your voice being the primary sound in the video. Other than that the voice was a very original take and I can see it being used for something like this, but you might wanna focus on the energy your exherting towards your character, because it seems too out of charactr
